Introduction to Box Calls

Turkey box calls have been around for almost 125 years, they are one of the easier turkey calls to learn how to use. Will Primos began making turkey calls in 1976, not much more than a decade later, Primos hunting was born. With hundreds of calls and a passion for speaking the language, we put science and passion together in our box calls to give you the best tool possible for harvesting an Ol' Tom this spring.

We offer 50+ turkey calls, out of those fifty calls 14 of them are premium well engineered box calls. We have spent countless hours behind a router and in the woods fine tuning these turkey calling instruments.

CHOOSING YOUR BOX CALL

1. Tall Timber Gabriel Wood Turkey Call

The Tall Timber Gabriel was effectively named after a book written by Charles Whittington. The book gives insight to the heavenly songs a old gobbler sings from a branch in the spring. Likewise, this box call will sing back to him. The way that this call is cut in the cnc mill shop gives you the ability to yelp, cut, and cackle in different tones and pitches.

2. Waterboard Turkey Call

Spring time means rain showers. Don't let the weather keep you from getting that long beard to gobble at you. The Waterboard Box Call is weather proof, it will yelp, cluck, and cut in any condition wet or dry. Having an all purpose box call can be very valuable to keep in your turkey vest. You never know when a spring shower may pop, be ready for it and stay on your bird.

3. Clear Cutter Turkey Call

The Clear Cutter Box Call produces sharp clear cuts and clucks that a gobbler can hear from hundreds of yards away. There is little paddle resistence making it easy to get start of loud and sharp and roll your yelps down to a soft raspy closing note. The box is pre-tuned and ready to hunt, all you have to do is pull the paddle.
