"It takes a while to understand how this works, there is no manual in the box, and the online manual does not apply to this model. I have somewhat mastered the operation and for the price it will do everything that I need it to do. I am somewhat impressed with it. I have purchased a tripod to use with it and then can watch the phone as I scan the area with the Equinox. I think I will enjoy using the device. It does use a lot of batteries, and it would be nice to have a remote Powercell to hook up for it."

"I've had this Bushnell digital night vision system for about 2 years and it has performed,and continues to perform superbly. It's an EXCELLENT night vision monocular,and has a built-in IR illuminator,zoom,recoding and SD card capabilities,and a picatinny rail for adding an additional more powerful IR illuminator. I haven't had to add one,as the onboard IR is fine. It's gone this long of a time on one set of batteries also. It's a GREAT digital night vision setup."

"I bought two if these for our anniversary, they are well built and function well with a tripod ( I also bought 2 of the ""titanium"" tripods). They only issue I have withe the bino's that there's no android app. There is an iphone app however. It would be nice to have the android app for a better viewing experience wether at night our daytime."

Great value for the money
"It's not as good as a $5000 NV scope, but for the price it's excellent. I would absolutely recommend this to others and would buy it again. That doesn't mean it can't be improved however. The battery low indicator is all over the board: saying low battery even when fresh, giving inconsistent readings from one minute to the next, etc. And it is a battery hog. Buy rechargeables and have a fresh set ready. I'd also give the top buttons a different tactile feel to help distinguish them in the dark. As for the app, make sure you connect to the WiFi in Settings BEFORE you start the app. But the bottom line is: this is a great reasonably priced NV scope, and I'm very glad to have it."
