Overland Park, KS — The new Elite 1500 with ARC laser rangefinder from Bushnell OutdoorProducts has received a Golden Bullseye Award for Optic of the Year from the publications staff at the National Rifle Association. The Golden Bullseye awards are presented to companies whose products represent excellence and innovation in the manufacture of firearms, accessories and related equipment.
The Elite 1500 with ARC was selected by theeditors of Shooting Illustrated magazine. The award will be presented to Bushnell at the NRA Annual Meeting on May 15 in Louisville, KY.
The Elite 1500 with Angle Range Compensation (ARC) incorporates an inclinometer that “holdover” information for rifle hunters. The Elite 1500 ARC uses a formula to eliminate the guesswork involved in determining whether to aim high or low. Rifle hunters taking extreme uphill or downhill shots can determine the necessary “hold-over” from 100 to 800 yards. The Elite 1500 ARC offers rifle hunters eight different ballistic groups to match their caliber and bullet weights. In the Bow Mode, archery hunters can determine the true horizontal distance from 5 to 99 yards with shooting angles of -60 to +60 degrees from their tree stand to their target. |
