The menu screen reads “MODEM INIT FAIL”, what does this mean?

Camera cannot save photos, it’s located in an area with bad cell coverage or the data plan has expired. Format the SD card on the camera and re-send the test photo. Reminder: formatting the SD card will erase all photos. Make sure the camera has an active data plan. Server will connect with the camera in 1-24 hours. If this does not correct the problem, contact Technical Support at 1-800-423-3537, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
