Overview:

Global Transportation Analyst #137-13

Summary:
Work closely with international freight forwarders on a daily basis to insure successful movement of products around the world.

Description:
Identifies key opportunities to leverage routing efficiencies in the broader supply-chain operation thru data gathering, maintenance, and analysis.

Analyzes current routing and formulates recommendations for opportunities to reduce transit times and spend while adhering to receiving and budget requirements.

Maintains domestic and international pricing agreements.

Works to review and process exceptions for validation and correction within routing applications.

Maintains Bushnell Outdoor Product’s dashboards for domestic and international volume.

Serves as subject matter expert to assigned personnel regarding process and procedures on routing as it relates to transportation.

Tracks and monitors freight claims for resolution and corrective action.

Provides necessary data and assists in the review of current providers to create scorecards, dashboards and hold transportation bids where necessary.

Assists in developing and implementing savings and process improvement programs necessary to achieve department commitments.

Proactively communicates and advises on trends, changes in transportation industry, or other logistics related factors that may impact the transportation of product.

Provides analysis of current transportation practices to determine cost improvement opportunities.

Develops, formats and publishes weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators related to freight and freight related services and measures.

Audits and approves escalated invoices in Bushnell’s freight audit and payment center’s website against current rates.

Monitor the execution of carrier pick-ups and deliveries throughout the domestic inbound network and insure that performance indicators are being met.

Back up to the International Coordinator.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or similar degree or equivalent related experience required.
