Global Inventory Compliance Manager #94-13

Summary:
This position is responsible for Managing the inventory team while establishing and maintaining procedures and policies that maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory information to achieve effective business decisions that meet all corporate initiatives and objectives

Description:
Utilizes planning and organizational skills in coordination with the inventory team to effectively maximize time in support of the facility and company’s objectives

Analyzes physical inventory, establishes and maintains inventory discrepancy investigations, and generates appropriate reporting to maintain adequate inventory levels and appropriate control (min – max)

Maintains employee performance through the proper use and administration of the organization’s recognition, feedback and discipline processes to ensure efficient department operations

Interacts with administrative and management staff to identify inventory control process changes and improvements.  Develops or assists in the development and implementation of necessary action plans to accomplish department -related objectives

Performs cycle counts of inventory in accordance with policies; analyzes and reports results, publishing corrective action plans as appropriate.

Maintains an accurate perpetual inventory and maintains data within the ERP system

Ensures appropriate data from various resources and inputs data into various operational reports to provide correct, up-to-date information in order to analyze department operations, department scheduling and staffing. Reviews areas of non-conformance and defines suggested corrective actions where necessary

Responsible for the integrity and Validity of the Product Master File and new product introductions

Ensures consistency of Global product data via reoccurring audits

Manage Vendor and Customer Sale Prices in inventory files

Create and manage product life cycle process that systematically monitors the stages of the product

Evaluates inventory for scrap disposal in line with monthly scrap budget

Reviews and reconciles Stock Status reports

Maintains Cost Receiving reports and standard cost difference reporting files

Submits all Month-End Jobs and Reporting to be processed for Bushnell facilities

Reconcile the Perpetual Book and all offsite facilities (US, Canada, International)

Provides timely, accurate, and candid information on critical issues to management, colleagues, and team members as appropriate

Qualifications:
Education: high school diploma or equivalent

Years of Related Experience: 5+ years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: solid knowledge of regulatory inventory processes and practices; good analytical, decision making and problem skills; PC skills including Microsoft Office, WMS/MRP/ERP systems as well as BOSS RMS/as400
